"Boss, when did you get here?" Zhu Ling finally noticed Chen Jincheng and asked, startled.
Chen Jincheng smiled and said, "I've been here for a little while. You looked so focused, I didn't want to disturb you. Besides, I noticed you're starting to resemble someone."
"Who?" Zhu Ling asked curiously.
"A goddess. The kind of goddess many men want to marry but know they're not worthy of," Chen Jincheng explained with a smile.
"And who is she?" Zhu Ling grew even more curious.
"You, of course!" Chen Jincheng said with a laugh.
"Ah!" Zhu Ling was taken aback by the sudden turn in conversation, her pretty face instantly flushing with shyness.
A moment later, she said in a barely audible whisper, "Well, she only wants to marry one person."
"Ahem... ahem!" Chen Jincheng immediately changed the subject. "This clay pot rice smells amazing! Tell me about the ingredients."
Zhu Ling obliged and began explaining the ingredients to him until the clay pot rice was ready for him to taste.
