'This damned pup is getting completely out of hand!'
As this thought crossed his mind, the Crown Prince's eyes turned as black as ink. He couldn't resist and, with a look of disdain, tossed the little mutt into Qian Shao's arms.
Shen Lang was stunned.
The Crown Prince, however, didn't spare her another glance. His eyes were frosty, his voice like jade laced with ice. "Wash it clean."
Qian Shao froze for a second, then a wave of delight washed over him.
'He'd always detested this mutt that had appeared out of nowhere. Now that the Crown Prince has handed it over, I can finally torment it. A dog can't talk, so His Highness will never find out.'
The more Qian Shao thought about it, the more excited he became. He hugged the pup so tightly that Shen Lang nearly suffocated.
She struggled desperately, but the Crown Prince didn't spare her a single glance and simply turned to leave.
