Mika Summers knew her mother didn't understand the true meaning behind her words. She turned to Joseph Summers and said urgently, "Dad, please just listen to me. Go wait outside. I'll be out in a minute."
Joseph Summers nodded. "Mika wants us to go, so let's go." 'Once we're out, I'll just call our son for help. Staying here wouldn't help; we'd just be dragging her down...'
