Mika Summers paid, picked up the prescription from the pharmacy, and left the hospital.
While holding Kiki, she stood by the side of the road, trying to hail a taxi. Suddenly, someone tapped her shoulder. She frowned slightly and turned to see it was Aiden Avery.
"Avery, what are you doing here?"
"I thought that was you from a distance, but I couldn't be sure. Mika, long time no see." He had come to the hospital to pick up some medical reports and hadn't expected to run into Mika Summers.
Mika Summers smiled and nodded. "Avery, it's been a long time."
"What's wrong? Are you feeling unwell?"
"It's not me, it's my son..." Mika Summers said with a smile, shaking her head.
Aiden Avery was clearly taken aback. Only then did he notice the tightly wrapped bundle in Mika Summers' arms, which did indeed look like a baby. "Your son? This is your son?"
"Yes, he is."
