Ian Shaw, who had his arm around a woman and had been watching the unfolding drama as if it had nothing to do with him, suddenly scowled, his expression darkening.
The woman in his arms, however, was completely oblivious and kept chattering away.
But Ian Shaw wasn't listening. After taking a moment to compose himself, he pushed the woman away and stood up.
The woman stood there, completely baffled, with no idea what she could have said to make Shaw so suddenly angry. Just as she reached out to grab Ian Shaw and ask, he had already moved past the table and was walking toward the door.
Once outside the private room, Ian Shaw immediately called Cassian Jennings. He didn't care if Cassian was jet-lagged or needed rest. As far as he was concerned, that coward Cassian really needed to get into a fight and stretch his muscles.
Cassian Jennings and Ian Shaw arrived at the school at almost the same time.
