Tiana rolled her eyes at Quincy. "What nonsense are you talking about!" 'What does he mean, "hooked up again"? How could a public figure say something so crude?'
Quincy knew his choice of words was inappropriate, but he just couldn't bring himself to like Leo Joyce.
'Watching his uncle and aunt's public displays of affection at the company every day was bad enough. Now it looked like even Tiana's old flame was being rekindled, while he, the perpetually single guy, still hadn't found his other half...'

As Tiana and Quincy left the airport, they saw Leo Joyce leaning against a sports car, his devilish eyes fixed on her.
Her suitcase had already been placed in the car by Leo.
Just as she was about to walk over to Leo, Quincy grabbed her arm tightly. "Tiana," he said, his tone full of displeasure, "your brother told me you were to come home with me."
