Archie Lockwood's eyes turned cold with disapproval. He glared at Shannon Vance. 'How could my woman be anything but beautiful?'
Eleanor Bishop looked at the confident, beautiful, and young woman before her and lowered her gaze.
'She had never spoken to Archie Lockwood with such familiarity, not like this woman.'
'So it's true. Their relationship is anything but ordinary.'
When neither Archie Lockwood nor Eleanor Bishop spoke, Shannon Vance's lips curved into a gentle smile. "Miss Bishop, I heard from Archie that you're having some trouble with your legs. May I ask what happened? Was there some kind of accident?"
'He even told this woman about my legs? It looks like Archie Lockwood has really decided to be with her.'
"Miss Bishop, if you need anything at all, please feel free to ask me. Archie is usually quite busy with company matters, so it would be more convenient for you to come to me if you need help."
