A long moment passed in silence. Archie Lockwood's patience was wearing thin. Stifling his anger, he demanded coldly, "You disagree?"
At his words, Eleanor Bishop let out a faint, cold laugh and gave a slight shake of her head. "No. I was just wondering... who else have you said these words to?"
'Did he say the same thing to Shannon Vance?'
'Just what kind of person am I in his eyes?'
'An outlet for his frustrations? Or am I just Rory's mother?'
'If it's the former, then I'm truly pitiful and pathetic. He's set his sights on me, and with my lack of power and status, how could I ever shake him off?'
'If it's the latter, then I should consider myself lucky. Lucky that in Archie Lockwood's eyes, I'm not quite so tragic...'
"There's no one else but you!" Archie Lockwood didn't understand the meaning behind Eleanor Bishop's question. His brow furrowed in displeasure as he answered coldly.
'No one else? Then what is Shannon Vance??'
'And what does he even mean by "no one else"?'
