When Naomi Shaw woke, she heard a soft voice speaking from above. She blearily opened her eyes to see him leaning against something, talking on the phone. As her mind cleared, she realized he was ordering food.
However, watching him so seriously confirming their order, a stark contrast to the wicked way he'd tormented her earlier, made Naomi want to play a trick on him. He shot her a glare.
Since she'd already started it, there was no way Julian Donovan was going to let her off the hook. He kept the phone pressed to his ear with one hand, continuing to give his instructions. Naomi struggled frantically, hissing in a low voice, "Let me go!"
He completely ignored her. Of course, she knew exactly what he was doing, and she was utterly mortified. Blushing, she glared at him, silently demanding he stop, but he remained unfazed.
