After a brief pause, she chuckled. "How much did you hear?"
Ashley Grant brushed a stray strand of hair from her forehead and said nonchalantly, "Well, since you heard everything, I won't hide it from you. That bitch slit her wrists yesterday at noon. She just woke up. Are you planning on going to see her? Or is it a case of 'out of sight, out of mind'?"
Hearing this, Annabelle Linton's eyes gradually darkened.
'Recalling her past life, Vivian Yates had attempted suicide then, too, but not at this point in time.'
'It wasn't time for her suicide attempt yet. Why did it happen so much earlier?'
Annabelle couldn't understand it. She was certain her memory wasn't mistaken, so she decided to go and see for herself.
Seeing Annabelle's serious expression, Ashley Grant thought she was scared. She patted her own chest and said with a grin, "Don't worry. We'll handle whatever she throws at us. With me here, she won't be able to pull any tricks."
