Annabelle Linton set down the freshly brewed tea, its alluring fragrance wafting delicately through the air. Nathan Grant and Patrick Grant each drank a cup, their expressions clearly satisfied.
"Annabelle has studied tea-making before," Nathan Grant said, pleasantly surprised.
It was a statement, not a question.
Annabelle Linton smiled and tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear. "When I was little, I enjoyed these sorts of calming hobbies. My grandfather liked them too, so I learned a bit. I've really only just gotten the hang of it; I'm probably not even as good as the staff here."
"Your tea ceremony skills are on par with the specialist I hired," Nathan Grant said, gratified.
