She woke on a bright, sunny morning.
The sunlight streaming through the window was a bit too bright. Annabelle Linton drew a weak breath, squinting as she raised a long, slender hand to block the harsh light.
Now she was fully awake.
"What time is it?" Annabelle Linton murmured to herself.
"Sister-in-law, you're awake?" Ashley Grant heard Annabelle Linton's voice and answered her question. "It's ten in the morning. You were unconscious for two days. How are you feeling?"
