A careless smile tugged at Annabelle Linton's lips.
'In my last life, I died two years from now. By then, Ryan was already twenty.'
'But where was this so-called father of theirs?'
'Did he give Ryan all his money?!'
'No, not a single cent!'
'And to think she and her brother had waited so foolishly while that couple was living it up abroad!'
Annabelle Linton let out a low laugh. "Is that so?"
"Yes," William Chapman answered firmly.
"Alright then..." Annabelle Linton's lips curled as she looked at him, holding out her hand. "Since it's Ryan's money, it's my money too.
I'm the person he's closest to in the entire world. It's his money either way, so you can just hand it over to me. I'll keep it safe for him. Any problem with that?"
Annabelle Linton finished and looked at Ryan Linton. "Ryan, do you have any objections?"
Ryan Linton's expression was calm. "What's mine is yours. I have no objections."
