Annabelle Linton's face was completely impassive, without even a flicker of surprise. She ignored him, walking straight past him.
Watching her indifferent display, Leona Grant couldn't stop his hands from clenching into tight fists.
He glared coldly at Annabelle Linton's retreating back and sneered. "Oh, so you *do* know the way back?"
Annabelle Linton kept walking without a single reaction.
A dangerous glint flashed in Leona Grant's eyes. He grabbed Annabelle Linton and growled in a low, restrained voice, "Annabelle Linton, I won't let you ignore me! You've been gone for two days. Where were you?"
"Let go." Annabelle Linton looked at him coldly, her voice flat and devoid of any inflection. "I said, get your hand off me!"
Leona Grant's grip only tightened. "I want an explanation!"
Annabelle Linton closed her eyes and took a deep breath. A hint of anger began to brew in her icy eyes.
