'What an absolute bastard!'
'She was just trying to have a nice day out shopping, and she had to run into him. Then he snatched Aaron Wyatt and dragged her here.'
'She really wanted to crack open his head to see what the hell he was thinking!'
Annabelle Linton started walking back the way she came, intent on leaving.
With Aaron Wyatt missing, her only option was to find someone to look for him.
A few maids froze for a moment, then quickly blocked her path. "It's so late, Miss Linton. Where are you going?"
Annabelle Linton walked around them and continued on, not even giving them a glance as she coldly uttered two words: "Going home."
One of the maids hesitated for a moment and said, "But you can't leave."
Annabelle Linton stopped in her tracks. She turned to look at the maid, her face devoid of expression as she asked, "Reason?"
"It was the master's order."
Hearing this, Annabelle Linton sneered and turned back around to continue walking.
