To everyone watching, it was clear that Annabelle Linton had simply dodged back after seeing Mrs. Yates.
The crowd was in an uproar when they saw this.
"Tsk, tsk. So she really did fall on her own. How could she have the nerve to frame Mrs. Grant? She's absolutely shameless!"
"Exactly! This woman is disgusting. She was bidding against Mrs. Grant, and when she couldn't win, she called Mrs. Grant shameless. Mrs. Grant respected her as an elder and let her have it, but then she complained it was too expensive? Seriously, if you can't afford it, just say so! Why play all these games? And the most important part is, after the item was shattered, Mrs. Grant wasn't even going to press the issue, but she turned around and pinned the blame on her!"
