He ran a little further, then stopped. Mustering his courage, he turned back to Annabelle Linton and said, "Miss, I like you! When I grow up, I'm going to marry you! You have to wait for me, okay?"
Annabelle Linton watched the little boy run off adorably, clutching his two stuffed animals. 'The way his face turned bright red when he shyly blurted that out... his expressions were priceless. It was just too cute!'
Lost in thought, she gazed with a fond smile at the spot where the little boy had disappeared, staring for a long, long time.
As she was staring into the distance, a voice suddenly sounded from beside her. "You seem to like him a lot, don't you?"
Without giving it much thought, Annabelle Linton kept her eyes fixed on where the boy had vanished and replied with a smile, "Yes, I do."
