Adrian Hawthorne's face grew warm. He had been waiting for Tang Xiaonan to stir up trouble these past few days, but instead of a storm, he was met with one surprise after another. He wasn't made of stone; naturally, he was moved.
He took all of Fatty Tang's kindness to heart and resolved to repay her one day.
"Mm..."
Adrian Hawthorne responded softly.
Old Master Tate was relieved. As long as this child promised something, he would definitely see it through.
"Tang Xiaonan's gift for languages truly took me by surprise. Kenneth, you're no match for her when it comes to language!" Old Master Tate said with a smile.
"People learn things at different times, and everyone has their own field of expertise."
Adrian Hawthorne smiled faintly, not at all bothered that someone else was more skilled than him. Old Master Tate nodded to himself. Everyone said Kenneth was narrow-minded and vindictive—not what the world would consider a good child.
But he didn't see it that way.
