Patrick Thorne was so mad at his spineless cousin he wanted to hit him. He raised his fist, but after a glare from Tang Xiaonan, he resentfully lowered it. He shot Gentry Chapman a harsh glare. 'So useless. He'll never even get a wife at this rate.'
Fuming, Patrick climbed another tree and continued snapping off dead branches. Gentry felt even more embarrassed. He knew he was useless and had made his cousin angry, but he really didn't dare to disobey his father. 'My dad's spankings really hurt.'
Adrian Hawthorne was gathering firewood alongside him and said in a low voice, "Can you do me a favor?"
"Of course."
Gentry agreed readily.
Adrian Hawthorne whispered a few words in Gentry's ear. Gentry's expression turned strange. "You don't even know my classmate. Why do you want to see him?"
"I like making new friends. Can you help me out?" Adrian looked at him sincerely.
