"I'm not going to the hospital! If you don't believe me, then just wait and see if I dare to attack someone!"
Rosalind Green shot to her feet, refusing to go to the hospital with a rare display of force. She then turned and went back to her room.
She had never been so eager for the hooligans to show up. That way, she could prove to her son that she had really made progress, that she wasn't crazy.
But with her son at home, the hooligans certainly wouldn't come. Rosalind Green's spirits fell. But then, in a rare moment of quick thinking, she came out of her room and shouted to Adrian Hawthorne, "Go sleep over at Jim's tonight! I'll be home by myself!"
'I have to prove it to my son!'
Rosalind Green gritted her teeth, more determined than ever. The fear she once felt at the thought of the hooligans coming was now matched by an intense craving for their arrival. 'It would be best if they came tonight.'
