"Are you guys from the textile mill?" Director Wood asked curiously. 'Who else could get their hands on so much good fabric at once, complete with an official invoice, if not the mill itself?'
"Don't you worry, sir. This is top-quality fabric from a major mill. The quality is guaranteed."
Goldie Thorne chuckled evasively. He gave a vague, noncommittal answer—neither confirming nor denying it. This only made Director Wood more certain that they were indeed from the textile mill.
"I'll be in touch next time something comes up," Director Wood said, subtly hinting at the possibility of future business.
Clayton Xavier and Adrian Hawthorne exchanged a joyful look. The Mid-Autumn Festival was just around the corner. 'If all goes well, this will be for the festival gifts,' they thought. 'And if we can build a good relationship with Director Wood, we can probably land the contract for the Spring Festival gifts too.'
