Holly Winslow happily went to greet him and saw the clams in his hands. "Dad, you bought so many clams?"
Then she waved at Mortimer Quincy. "Come on, Quincy the Puppy, time to work."
Wyatt Winslow said disapprovingly, "No need, I'll take care of it later."
"Dad, let me do it."
Mortimer Quincy was more than happy to make a good impression on his father-in-law. He took the items and went into the kitchen.
Holly Winslow giggled. "Dad, let him. He loves doing this kind of stuff."
"Since you bought so many clams, should I invite Mom and Dad over to eat too?"
Wyatt Winslow naturally understood who she meant by "Mom and Dad." "Okay."
He then looked at the somewhat reserved Yara Nolan on the sofa. "Make yourself at home."
"Okay, Uncle Winslow." Yara Nolan adjusted her glasses, hiding the envy in her eyes.
