"Pfft."
Seeing Grace Winslow's reaction, Sean York couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Don't get the wrong idea. I didn't mean it like that," Sean York explained hurriedly when he saw Grace's expression darken. "I just think you're a great person, and I happen to have a pretty decent friend. I thought if you were interested in dating, I could introduce you. My career is just taking off and things aren't stable yet, so I wouldn't dare make any promises lightly."
"Comrade York, please don't say things that can be so easily misunderstood in the future," Grace said, her face still grim.
"I won't, I won't," Sean York said, raising his hand as if swearing an oath. "So, I'll keep an eye out for a storefront you might like. When I have news, should I let you know by finding your parents at your house, or should I find you at the university?"
