After the schedule for tomorrow was settled, the meeting was adjourned.
As Ashley Bowen walked out of the council hall, she sucked in a sharp breath of cold air.
Just as she was leaving, someone from behind called out to her. "Your Highness, the Imperial Concubine, please wait a moment."
Ashley Bowen quickly turned around, a little overwhelmed by the honor. The person who had called her was none other than the leader of the nation's ruling party, the Prime Minister himself.
"How may I help you, Mr. Prime Minister?" Ashley Bowen asked with a small smile.
The Prime Minister glanced at Ashley Bowen and smiled. "Nothing major. I just wanted to offer my congratulations to the Imperial Concubine in advance. Also, on your wedding day, my daughter will have the honor of being your bridesmaid. I thank you on her behalf."
"I'm the one who should be thanking you. Having the Prime Minister's daughter as my bridesmaid is a blessing I must have earned over several lifetimes."
