'This must be a dream. How could my Adam be this kind of person? How could he say such hurtful things?'
Ashley Bowen prayed it was a dream, but the nightmare refused to end.
Adam Sinclair caught up to her, blocking her path. "Did you sleep with him?"
His blunt question stunned Ashley Bowen.
"Adam, please leave. Don't make me lose the last shred of love I have for you." Ashley sighed and reached out to push Adam.
However, Adam's body was like an iron wall; no matter how hard Ashley pushed, it was useless.
"Tell me, did you sleep with him? When did you do it?" Adam stared at Ashley with a desperate, almost perverse gaze.
Ashley felt her skin crawl. She shoved him away. "Brother, don't you think that's a ridiculous question? The Third Highness and I are legally married. It's perfectly normal for us to be intimate, whenever we choose. I don't see why I need to report that to you, do I?"
Ashley was repulsed by the man Adam had become. He had disappointed her so, so much.
