"Hailey, do you think our Shay would look good in this?"
"She would definitely be the most beautiful bride of the year."
Ashley Bowen had just entered when she saw the Empress Dowager and Hailey standing before a glass display case, talking about what was inside.
"Your Majesty, the Third Imperial Concubine has arrived." After someone announced her, the Empress Dowager immediately turned around, beaming at Ashley Bowen.
"Come, come, Shay. I heard from Yuri that you two went to try on wedding dresses yesterday? How was it? Are you happy with it?" The Empress Dowager took Ashley Bowen's hand, her face full of kindness.
Ashley Bowen remembered the little incident during the dress fitting, but she didn't mention it at all. Instead, she smiled and nodded. "Yes, I love it. Thank you, Grandmother. You've gone to so much trouble."
"Look at this child, so sweet-tongued. Come, put on the wedding dress and let your grandmother see."
"Okay." Ashley Bowen nodded.
