She had arranged to meet Morgan Sinclair by the rockery. It was two in the morning, and a chilly wind was gusting outside. Claire Sutton shivered from head to toe but dared not sneeze.
She hid inside the rockery until a familiar male voice called out, "Sister-in-law?"
"Morgan." Seeing the man she had been longing for had finally arrived, Claire Sutton threw herself into his arms.
From the moment they had first exchanged flirtatious glances, it was destined they would become a raging fire.
Morgan Sinclair unwrapped the two hands clasped around his neck, a touch of impatience on his face. He had a lot of women. If you lined them up from the Hall of Diligence, the line would probably stretch all the way to Prosperity Avenue.
And his creed when it came to women was to never touch the same one twice. Chloe had been an exception, but he didn't want a second one.
So, Claire Sutton's current behavior clearly made him very uncomfortable.
"Morgan, I'm pregnant. What should I do?"
