Seeing Yuri Sinclair and Ashley Bowen finally stop being at each other's throats, Mary Preston felt a weight lift from her heart.
After all, she still hoped Shay and Yuri Sinclair could be happy.
"Mom, after dinner, why don't you pack your things so we can all go to the palace together?" Yuri Sinclair suddenly suggested as they were finishing their meal.
The mention of going to the palace made Mary Preston's eyes crinkle into a smile. She knew it meant Ashley Bowen had finally agreed to go back. She shook her head. "No, I'm used to living here."
"Mom, please listen to me," Yuri Sinclair said, patting the back of her hand.
'Today's Shay isn't the same as she used to be. Every extra day with her is another day to rebuild our bond.'
"Alright." After some thought, Mary Preston agreed. It was just that going back would mean being surrounded by things that would remind her of the past, and she would inevitably feel heartbroken.
