Ashley Bowen had someone park the car right in front of the restaurant and took out her phone.
She stared at the contact name on the screen, hesitating for a long time before finally tapping it.
She waited a moment before the call connected, and a cacophony of noise immediately came through.
"Hello, Shay?" Jenson Shelby's voice came through, sounding a little surprised but unable to hide his delight. He had said his goodbyes to Ashley Bowen that day, never expecting they would see each other again so soon.
"Jenson, there's something I need to ask you..."
Half an hour later, a beautiful melody drifted out from Seaview Horizon restaurant.
