But up close, she could see it was a hole, about the size of a button.
"You tried to block that bullet for me. I hate him. He wanted to kill me, but he still had to drag innocent people into it!"

She bit her lip, not daring to touch the hole.
"And the third one?"
"Here." He held out his right hand, revealing a deep scar. 'We've been together for so long, and I never even noticed!'
"This happened at the MT Bar. I was stabbed by a thug while saving you. I only found out later that he had ordered it too."
She didn't need him to point out the fourth scar.
Ashley Bowen gazed at the four scars. Except for the first and the last, the two in the middle were both because of her.
"Yuri, you must hate him, don't you? But... more than hate, you're probably just heartbroken, aren't you?"
