She couldn't remember the last time she'd been to the movies, but she was filled with anticipation as she stared at the dark screen.
If she hadn't wanted to experience the noisy, crowded atmosphere of a regular movie, he never would have agreed to sneaking in early and leaving early.

He glanced at his watch. 'The audience will be let in in ten minutes. Why aren't those two here yet?'
