Wayne Sawyer was fuming inside. His tone was sharp. "Who is it?"
"Father, it's me." Sylvia Young's voice was incredibly sweet. She asked tentatively, "Father, may I come in?"
There was a moment of silence from inside before he finally told her to enter.
Sylvia Young walked in, closed the door, and approached him step by step.
"What's wrong? Are you angry, Father?" Sylvia Young asked with a beaming smile.
"What in the world are you trying to do?" Wayne Sawyer finally lost his composure and demanded angrily.
But Sylvia Young wasn't afraid in the slightest. The smile never left her face.
"Father, don't be so angry. Sylvia is just concerned about you."
"Hah! You, concerned about me? Pah! Don't think I don't know what wicked schemes you're plotting!"
"Oh? You know what wicked schemes I'm plotting, Father? Do tell." Sylvia Young was suddenly ecstatic, her smile blossoming. She placed a slender hand on his shoulder. Her bright red nail polish seemed to exude a captivating allure.
