Anna quickly parked her car in the lot, hurried over, and walked up to Howard.
"Hello, could I have one of those too?"
Usually, when people shove flyers at you, you're likely to scowl and say no.
But someone was actually asking for one of Howard's flyers?
He handed one over without looking up.
"Howard, what are you doing here?" Anna asked with a frown.
Howard looked up at the person before him. He had no memory of her at all. "Do... I know you?"
"Have you forgotten? The day you came to the company looking for Nate, I was the one who let you through security," Anna quickly explained.
Howard thought for a moment, then answered sheepishly, "Oh, right. I remember now."
But then his brow furrowed. "How do you know my last name?"
"Nate and I are colleagues. She told me," Anna explained hurriedly. Just as she was about to say more, Nate Jennings ran over, holding two drinks.
She was surprised to see Anna. "Huh? Anna, what are you doing here? You two know each other?"
