Claire Sinclair slept for a long time.
She hadn't slept that soundly in ages. When she woke up, she found herself leaning against an unfamiliar chest, smelling a strange yet pleasant cologne.
Reality came crashing back. She quickly pulled away, her face flushing as she apologized, "I'm so sorry, Your Highness Prince Hale! I can't believe I fell asleep. That was so rude of me. I'm sorry!"
Little Prince Hale smiled and said, "It's all right. I don't blame you."
"Um..." Claire Sinclair cautiously looked up, meeting his blue eyes. "President Lockwood asked me to show you around. Are you hungry?"
'He said it was all right, but who knows if he'll tattle on me when he sees President Lockwood?'
'Looks like I'll have to bribe him with food...'
Little Prince Hale smiled. "I am a little hungry. What's good to eat around here?"
"There's lots of delicious food. Was there anything you wanted to try before you came?"
