Theo Rhodes smiled and changed the subject. "We've been so busy since we got back that we haven't even gone to see Hanson. How about we find some time to visit him?"
Claire Sinclair glanced back instinctively and saw Bonnie Yates staring blankly at her computer. "Let's just forget it," she said. "Teacher Hartwell finally managed to get some time off. We shouldn't go be third wheels."
Theo Rhodes couldn't help but complain, "Hanson is really something else. He clearly doesn't need to be in the hospital, but he insists on faking it for this long. Bonnie Yates is just too gullible. I'm so tempted to tell her the truth."
Claire Sinclair reminded him, "You may be clever, but you're still a little green compared to Teacher Hartwell. I'd advise you not to get on his bad side."
Theo Rhodes: "..."
'Ah, that poor girl.'
