Claire Sinclair asked impatiently, "How are you going to help me?"
"I can go to The Inferno to see if he's there for you. That's all I can do to help." There were some matters he shouldn't interfere with; after all, he had his own position to consider.
Claire Sinclair's tears turned to laughter. "I just need to know if Teacher Hartwell is here. That's enough! Thank you!"
Orion Osborne sat back down on the sofa. Seeing the smile return to her face, it was as if color had finally returned to his monochrome world.
"Claire Sinclair."
"Hm?"
"It's nothing." As he spoke, Orion Osborne stood up and turned toward the door.
Claire Sinclair rolled her eyes. Just as he was about to reach the door, she called out to him, "Where are you going?"
"To take care of some business. Don't wander off."
"Okay."
He was gone again.
Claire Sinclair was troubled. 'I know I shouldn't get too involved with him, but to find Teacher Hartwell, my only option is to use my charms on him.'
