There were too many people around, making it inconvenient to discuss certain things. Shen Yi didn't elaborate, and Qin Jiao couldn't be bothered to ask. He was acting like he was going through menopause, all moody and unpredictable.
By the time they got home, they were both a little soaked from the rain. It wasn't dinnertime yet, so they decided to heat some water for a hot shower.
But as soon as they entered the room, Qin Jiao spotted a computer on the natural wood desk and said in pleasant surprise, "Shen Yi, you brought the computer back?"
"Yeah, but this was the only model I could get right now. You'll have to make do with it. I also brought back a set of related books."
Shen Yi leaned against the doorframe, his bangs damp from the rain, giving him an indescribable, sentimental air.
Qin Jiao's gaze lingered for a moment before she said, "Oh, right. What was it you wanted to tell me earlier?"
"Go take a hot shower first. We don't want you catching a cold."
