Having earned the 500,000 she'd been dreaming of, Su Nian drove straight home.

But just as Su Nian fell asleep, she heard a faint, rustling sound in the night. At first, it sounded like someone rummaging through her closet, but the noise grew closer, as if something was now crouching by her bed.
Su Nian suddenly realized it was probably someone from the Deceit Night Altar who had found her.
But she couldn't be bothered to open her eyes. 'All I want is to sleep,' she thought. 'I'm dead tired, so I don't care. If there's a ghost, there's a ghost.'
Just as the sounds faded and Su Nian was drifting into a deep sleep, someone whispered in her ear, "I know you're not asleep."

She snapped her eyes open, annoyed, only to be confronted by a human face right in front of her own, split by a wide grin that was both lecherous and deeply unsettling.
