"Jail?"
Meng Liang found it a bit strange. 'What could a beggar possibly do to end up in there?'
'It couldn't be for digging up graves, could it?'
"He got too greedy. A few days ago, he set his sights on another family's grave. The family caught him and gave him a good beating."
[That's seriously messed up!]
[He got what he deserved!]
[I don't get it. A homeless guy with no descendants, why is he so obsessed with a grave?]
[He had a backup option?]
"Then, he dragged his injured body to go steal something. The crime was serious, so the police arrested him."
The beggar's story was certainly full of twists and turns.
Only after hearing the end of the story and learning that the beggar didn't get away with it did Meng Liang's expression soften.
"Alright, I understand."
He had decided to go back and beat up that beggar himself. He never expected the man would already be in the slammer.
[That beggar is just disgusting.]
