As Symbiotes, choosing a host to bond with is incredibly important for their race.
Because typically, the stronger the host, the greater the power they can unleash after bonding.
Moreover, by bonding with strong individuals, the Symbiote itself can grow immensely, as it might inherit some of the strong individual's power if it's lucky.
So, upon sensing Kytheron, Venom immediately detached from Edmund, transforming back into a fluid.
However, it discovered that the spaceship's hard outer wall was not something it could tear, making it bounce around anxiously inside the ship.
Seeing this, Kytheron gave it a small hand, using his telekinesis to rip open a hole in the spaceship.
Upon seeing the spaceship crack open, Venom didn't hesitate, directly wriggling out of the spaceship through the crack.
"Teacher, look, what is that thing?"
Jean immediately spotted Venom wriggling towards Kytheron, asking with some surprise.
"A strange, special lifeform called a Symbiote, which survives by parasitizing other lifeforms."
Hearing Kytheron's words, Jean immediately felt that Venom was dangerous.
She mistook Venom for a type of parasite and decided to eliminate it; the next second, the Phoenix Force within her began to respond to her will.
"Wait, Jean, I still have other uses for this guy, don't touch it."
Seeing Kytheron say this, Jean also abandoned the idea of disintegrating Venom.
Watching Venom slowly crawl towards him, Kytheron extended a hand to it.
Venom, already dazed by the life fluctuations emanating from Kytheron, didn't hesitate in the slightest, directly pouncing with a single leap.
Kytheron, this perfect host, made it drool with desire; Venom eagerly merged with Kytheron's body.
In his heart, as long as he could combine with Kytheron, his title as the "Shame of Symbiotes" would be completely washed away, and he would become the strongest warrior in the Universe.
Because among the countless Symbiote communities on Klyntar, Venom was like a good-for-nothing in human society.
Venom's family had reached its ninth hundredth generation with him; originally, Symbiotes were supposed to get stronger with each generation, but he was an exception, appearing weak and pathetic compared to his other kin.
So, on his home Planet, Venom was a loser, and was given the title "Shame of Symbiotes."
This is also why, in the original timeline, when Venom bonded with Eddie Brock, he told him: "I'm a loser on our Planet just like you."
Two equally failed individuals combining together, however, produced an effect greater than the sum of their parts.
Similarly, it seemed precisely because of Venom's weakness that he was more easily influenced by the host's personality than his other kin, and even his offspring were the same.
"Teacher, is it really okay for that dark, slimy thing to parasitize you?"
For some reason, after seeing that large, dark, mud-like thing disappear into Kytheron's body, Jean couldn't help but shiver, saying with some trepidation.
"Of course, it's fine. These little Symbiotes are nothing to me, unless their creator, Knull, appears; then perhaps it would be interesting!"
Seeing Kytheron's confident demeanor, Jean didn't say anything more, but her gaze towards Kytheron was a bit strange.
Meanwhile, Venom was excitedly preparing to adapt to Kytheron's body.
In the long history of Symbiotes, even counting from the first generation of Symbiotes, they had never heard of anyone bonding with a lifeform as exaggerated and powerful as Kytheron.
Once integrated into Kytheron's body, he felt Kytheron's terrifying nature even more clearly; every cell in his body was like a small Sun, filled with terrifying vitality.
Venom trembled with joy, marveling at his incredible luck, never expecting that after being stranded on a remote Planet, he would still discover such a perfect and powerful host.
"Carnage, Riot, and Phage, this time I win!"
Venom thought of the other three Symbiotes who had left Klyntar with him, and couldn't help but laugh smugly.
Those three guys were probably still barely surviving somewhere, unlike him who had already found the strongest host.
During their journey, he had been bullied by those three guys quite a bit, even almost being torn apart and devoured by them more than once, but there was nothing he could do, as Symbiotes adhere to the law of the jungle.
On their home Planet, that law was displayed even more vividly.
Symbiotes across the entire Planet were constantly engaged in mutual slaughter and consumption; the strong devoured the weak, who were then devoured by the stronger, in an endless cycle.
They were very lucky to be chosen as the advance team, sent to parasitize other life-bearing Planets, escaping that terrifying hell.
However, Venom soon realized he might have celebrated too early!
When it prepared to decipher and merge with Kytheron's genes at the genetic level, as it would with other hosts, it discovered a terrifying power forming tight genetic shackles that blocked its breakthrough.
It couldn't obtain any information at all, let alone merge!
"It's over!"
This was Venom's only thought at the moment.
Among their Symbiote race, there had always been a saying: if they encountered genetic shackles that even they couldn't break through, then the other party must be an existence above a god.
Immediately, Venom disregarded everything and frantically tried to detach from Kytheron's body.
However, as the saying goes, it's easy to get in, but hard to get out!
Kytheron manifested his terrifying will within his body.
Instantly, Venom, still trying to escape, immediately screamed in fright, curling into a ball and trembling.
"If you don't want to die, stay put obediently, otherwise I don't mind directly obliterating you. I presume you have even stronger kin!"
Hearing Kytheron's threat, Venom immediately quieted down!
And, in a fawning manner, it transformed into a black cloak draped behind Kytheron.
Seeing Venom being so perceptive, Kytheron didn't scare him anymore, and carrying the spaceship, he slowly landed under the gaze of countless eyes.
Reporters, having sniffed out the news, had long been waiting on the ground with their cameras and microphones!
However, when they tried to approach Kytheron for an interview, they noticed his appearance, which was distinctly different from that of a human, and hesitated.
But then, under the dual pressure of threats and inducements from their bosses, they cast all hesitation aside.
"Sir, are the people inside the spaceship still alive?"
"May I ask where you are from? Are you an Earthling?"
"By choosing to save this spaceship, do you intend to officially debut as a Superhero in public?"
"You possess such powerful abilities, have you considered doing other things?"
"Are you a Mutant? What do you think of the new Magneto who appeared in the Arctic Ocean recently? Does he have any plans to commit another terrorist attack?"
...
These reporters were like sharks smelling blood, eagerly asking Kytheron a barrage of questions.
"There's one survivor!"
However, Kytheron couldn't even be bothered to listen to their questions, casually dropping a single sentence before flashing away!
With Kytheron gone, the reporters' target shifted to Jean.
