Meredith's Point of View (The Past)
I remained sprawled on that cursed sofa for hours. The scent of his skin and tobacco, mingled with my tears, filled the space and stifled me.
My body shuddered with involuntary jolts, every cell in me screaming from the impact of the violation. When he finally returned and unlocked the restraints on my hands, I didn't move; I was a corpse inhabited by a shattered soul.
He tossed a few banknotes on the table and said coldly, adjusting his suit jacket: "Here is your pay... with a small bonus for an enjoyable night."
He walked out and locked the door behind him, leaving me in my wreckage. In that moment, I didn't just hate him; I hated Violet. I hated her because she was at her university, studying in peace, while I was here being raped by this animal.
I felt disgusted by myself, by my skin, and by everything that tied me to this world.
