Julie's POV
The blood froze in my veins. I felt a sudden chill sweep through my limbs as I saw his dark gaze devouring my naked, wet body under the dim, desolate bathroom lighting. His facial features were terrifyingly sharp, as if carved from solid rock, and his powerful grip seemed poised to snatch and prey upon me, with zero regard for my weak defiance. A violent shudder carved its way along my spine.
I felt my pores open and quiver under the weight of his words, which stripped me of the last shred of will I had been clinging to. His breath, heavy with the scent of tobacco and the sharpness of liquor, continued to besiege and encircle me. It felt as though the bathroom's four walls had suddenly shrunk, no longer able to contain anything but his overwhelming tyranny and the repressed desire that had begun to boil deep within me, shattering every fortress of resistance I had built during the days of my imprisonment.
