"The wedding has been decided. It will be in three days," Reign told Evie.
"Why? What is the hurry? Was it not supposed to be in like two weeks?" she asked.
"Yes, it was, but King Wesley requested it to be moved forward because he wants to go back to his kingdom fast," Reign responded.
"That makes sense," Evie nodded. "Can I please attend the wedding, then?" Evie asked.
"You are very heavy, and a lot of people will be there, and the event is all day. It will be hard on you, my dearest," Reign said.
"I will not leave your side," Evie said. "And I will return to the palace when needed," she asked, looking up from his chest, her eyes glossy.
Reign avoided her eye contact; he knew he would immediately agree if he did.
And then he felt her shift and sit up, and his back straightened and his breath stopped.
She then wrapped her hands on his neck and pulled him down and then took his cheeks and pulled him to her.
