Chapter 60 - Narrative Reset

As the car rolled to a stop in front of a small building, Jin-Ah opened the door and stepped outside. She paused for a moment, then looked back into the car with a serious expression.

"Stay here until I come back."

Without waiting for a reply, she walked toward the entrance and disappeared inside the building.

Rien silently watched her leave.

A few moments later, he stepped out of the car and stood alone on the empty road. A gentle breeze swept through the silent street as he lifted his gaze toward the endless sky.

"Let's see what happens."

His voice was calm.

He took a slow, deep breath.

The air around him suddenly began to distort, as if reality itself had started breathing with him. Countless ripples spread across space before brilliant blue flames erupted around his body, burning without heat yet carrying a pressure beyond existence itself.

The world trembled.

Rien slowly extended both of his hands.

"Verse Assembly."

The moment those words left his lips, everything stopped.

The city vanished.

The oceans disappeared.

The mountains, the continents, and the atmosphere surrounding Earth dissolved into nothingness.

Then Earth itself disappeared.

The Solar System followed.

Galaxies faded like scattered dust.

The observable universe collapsed into silence before countless higher universes, infinite dimensional layers, transcendent realities, and the boundless Omniverse itself unraveled one after another.

The concepts of time, space, causality, life, death, destiny, mathematics, and existence were stripped away.

Even the infinite hierarchy that existed beyond the Omniverse—where narratives, dimensions, and realities overlapped without end—began collapsing into absolute nothingness.

The foundations of Creation surrendered to a single will.

Then...

Silence.

A darkness older than existence itself remained.

It was a place beyond reality.

Beyond dimensions.

Beyond the Omniverse.

Beyond the very concepts that defined "beyond."

Standing within that endless abyss were several incomprehensible beings, each radiating an overwhelming presence capable of creating or erasing infinite realities with a single thought.

One stepped forward.

His body was covered in crimson divine armor, with a single glowing eye embedded in the center of his helmet.

He slowly looked around.

"What is happening?"

His deep voice echoed through the eternal darkness.

Another figure emerged.

She possessed no physical body.

Her entire form was made of living shadows, within which countless galaxies, universes, timelines, and infinite worlds endlessly flowed like rivers. She had no face, no eyes, and no identifiable features, yet her existence alone surpassed the limits of imagination.

"It feels... like a Creation Reset."

Her voice resonated across the boundless void.

Suddenly—

A portal of azure light opened.

Rien stepped through.

He wore nothing more than a crisp blue shirt and black trousers, yet the endless blue flames surrounding him eclipsed the entire abyss. His mere existence made the darkness itself retreat.

The armored being immediately lowered his head.

"It is an honor to stand before you, my Lord."

The remaining beings bowed without hesitation.

Rien acknowledged them with a quiet nod before looking toward the armored figure.

"Celestial... how is your Box progressing?"

Celestial respectfully raised his head.

"It remains stable, my Lord. However, the fabric of reality has begun to fracture, and space-time is slowly collapsing beyond every horizon."

Rien nodded before shifting his gaze toward the shadowed woman.

"And yours, Eternala?"

She bowed gracefully.

"The same, my Lord. My Box has also reached its limit."

The remaining Overseers silently confirmed the same.

For a brief moment...

Absolute silence filled the void.

Then Rien spoke.

"We will begin the Creation Reset."

The surrounding darkness itself seemed to acknowledge his decision.

Eternala lowered her head.

"Is it truly necessary, my Lord?"

"Yes."

Rien's answer was simple.

"The narrative has become unstable. Every layer of Creation has drifted beyond its intended balance. Reality can no longer sustain itself."

He slowly raised both hands.

"After the reset, each of you will return to your original roles."

"You will preserve the balance of every reality."

"You will become the pillars upon which the new Creation stands."

Every being bowed once again.

"As you command, my Lord."

Blue flames exploded across the endless abyss.

The totality of Creation—every universe, every timeline, every concept, every possibility, every narrative, and every fragment of existence—collapsed into a single point before being absorbed into Rien's body.

The cosmic pressure became so immense that even the void itself shattered.

One after another...

The Overseers dissolved into streams of primordial light and merged with Rien.

Then...

Everything disappeared.

Only a limitless white expanse remained.

No sky.

No land.

No time.

No space.

No concepts.

Nothing.

Rien stood alone within the endless white world.

He slowly looked around before letting out a quiet sigh.

"This story's narrative is complete chaos."

He gently tapped his foot against the blank floor.

Instantly—

An indescribable explosion of Creation unfolded.

Celestial structures expanded infinitely.

The Omniverse was reborn.

Infinite universes blossomed like flowers across existence.

Dimensions layered upon dimensions.

Timelines intertwined endlessly.

Galaxies ignited.

Stars were born.

Worlds rotated.

Life awakened.

The endless hierarchy of Creation reconstructed itself in perfect harmony.

Moments later...

Earth.

Japan.

Inside a quiet suburban city.

Rien stood inside his bedroom, wearing the same blue shirt and black trousers as though nothing had happened.

He quietly looked out of the window before shaking his head.

"Restarting solves nothing."

Soft footsteps echoed from the staircase.

The bedroom door slowly opened.

A beautiful woman entered with a gentle smile. She wore a sea-blue bodycon dress that elegantly accentuated her graceful figure.

"You're looking handsome today, sweetie."

Rien smiled warmly.

"Thanks, Stepmom."

She nodded.

"We're getting late. We're going to your grandmother's house, so stop wasting time and come downstairs to help us pack."

"I'll be there."

She smiled once more before leaving and gently closing the door behind her.

Rien turned toward the window and looked up at the peaceful blue sky.

A faint smile appeared on his face.

"The writer really is a noob."

With those words, he quietly left the room, closing the door behind him.

Meanwhile, within the Immortal Domain...

Erlin sat gracefully upon her divine throne, her calm gaze fixed upon countless Cosmic Spheres drifting before her. Each sphere contained an entire reality, allowing her to witness every event unfolding across Creation.

A gentle smile appeared on her face.

"Such a legendary figure."

Her soft voice echoed throughout the silent hall.

She slowly leaned back against her throne, closed her eyes, and quietly immersed herself in peaceful contemplation.

Elsewhere...

At the endless Cosmic Sea...

Astra stood atop the boundless ocean, clad in majestic purple armor. A thick, overwhelming aura surrounded him, causing the endless sea to ripple with every breath he took.

He gazed toward the distant horizon, where infinite worlds shimmered like scattered stars.

A confident smile spread across his face.

"My Lord... I never imagined that there could exist anything capable of stopping you."

He lowered his head with quiet respect before turning around.

Without another word, Astra calmly walked across the endless Cosmic Sea, his footsteps sending gentle ripples through the infinite waters as his figure gradually disappeared beyond the horizon.
