"HARRY!"
The shout tore through the dormitory like a spell.
Harry's eyes snapped open.
Ron stood at the foot of his bed, pale, eyes wide, as if he'd seen a ghost, and perhaps, in a way, he had.
For a heartbeat, neither of them moved.
Then Ron crossed the distance in two strides and grabbed his shoulders.
"Where have you been?!" he demanded, voice cracking. "We thought, you just, vanished,!"
Seamus and Dean crowded in behind him, both staring as though unsure Harry was entirely real.
"You've been gone two weeks," Dean said quietly.
Harry blinked.
"…Two weeks?"
Ron let out a strained laugh. "Yeah, mate. Two weeks. Just...gone. One second you're there, next, poof, blue portal, Malfoy looking like he swallowed a Bludger, and you're gone."
Harry pushed himself upright slowly.
His body felt… contained.
Coiled.
Power pressed beneath his skin like a storm held behind glass.
And then,
A flicker of instinct.
He reached behind him.
And felt it.
A tail.
Wrapped tightly around his waist, hidden beneath his robes.
He stilled.
"…Right," he muttered.
Ron didn't notice. He just pulled Harry into a tight hug.
"Don't do that again," Ron said into his shoulder.
Harry hesitated only a second before returning it.
"I'll try," he said quietly.
Common Room
The moment Harry stepped into the Gryffindor common room, the world seemed to stop.
Then it exploded.
"HARRY!"
Hermione reached him first, throwing her arms around him so tightly he felt ribs creak, though his Saiyan-enhanced body barely registered it as pain.
"You idiot," she whispered fiercely. "You absolute idiot, do you have any idea,"
"I'm okay," Harry said softly.
Ginny followed, eyes bright with relief and something deeper, fiercer. She didn't hug him immediately, just looked at him, searching.
"You're different," she said.
Harry gave a small smile. "Yeah."
Neville clapped him on the shoulder. "We thought, well," He swallowed. "It's good to have you back."
Luna simply stepped forward and touched his sleeve lightly.
"You went very far away," she said.
Harry met her gaze.
"Yes," he said quietly. "I did."
The Great Hall
When Harry entered the Great Hall, silence fell like a dropped curtain.
Every head turned.
Whispers spread instantly.
"He's back"
"Two weeks"
"Malfoy"
Harry ignored it.
He sat.
Picked up a fork.
Started eating.
Ron leaned in immediately. "So...what happened after you got sucked into the magical death portal?"
Hermione shot him a look. "Ron"
"What? It's accurate."
Harry exhaled slowly. "Later."
Hermione nodded. "First, you should know. Malfoy was suspended immediately. Sent to the Ministry. The ICW got involved."
Harry paused mid-bite.
"ICW?"
"Yes," Hermione said. "They've been working with Professor Dumbledore to try and locate you. You've been missing for fourteen days, Harry."
He stared at her.
Fourteen days.
For him…
It had been a lifetime.
More than one.
He leaned back slightly, processing.
"…That makes sense," he murmured.
Ron blinked. "How does that make sense?!"
Before Harry could answer,
"Potter."
Professor McGonagall stood at the staff table, her expression firm but her eyes soft with relief.
"The Headmaster would like to see you. Immediately. Your friends as well."
Harry nodded.
"Of course."
Dumbledore's Office
It was full.
Not just full, packed.
Members of the Order lined the walls. Dumbledore stood at the center. Vale was beside him. The four Heads of House were already present.
And Sirius,
Sirius didn't wait.
He crossed the room in two strides and pulled Harry into a crushing embrace.
"Don't you ever do that again," Sirius said roughly.
Harry huffed a small laugh. "I didn't plan it."
Remus stepped forward next, quieter but no less intense.
"You're alright?" he asked.
"I'm fine," Harry said.
"Constant vigilance!" growled Alastor Moody from the corner.
Harry glanced at him.
Moody's magical eye whirred, fixing on Harry's waist.
"You look stronger," Moody said slowly. "Not just muscle. Magic. Something else." He narrowed his good eye. "And why, Potter, do you have a monkey tail wrapped around your waist?"
Silence.
Every head turned.
Ron blinked. "He has a what?"
Harry sighed.
"…Right."
Slowly, deliberately, he reached behind him.
And unfurled it.
The tail dropped free, long and brown, moving slightly with a life of its own before he wrapped it back around his waist again.
The room erupted.
"What?!"
"How?!"
"Is that?!"
Hermione stared in absolute disbelief. "Harry…"
Dumbledore did not look surprised.
Only… deeply interested.
Harry gestured toward the Pensieve sitting ready on the desk.
"It's easier if I show you."
The Memories of a Saiyan
They gathered.
One by one, they entered.
And watched.
They saw Planet Vegeta.
They saw Bardock training him brutally.
They saw Saiyan culture, pride, conquest, survival.
They saw Harry struggle to reconcile who he had been with what he was becoming.
They saw Oozaru.
They saw battle.
They saw him grow.
Power rising.
8,000.
12,000.
They saw Raditz.
They saw Kakarot, Goku, small, fragile.
They saw Gine begging him to protect his brother.
They saw the destruction of Planet Vegeta by Frieza.
Gasps filled the room.
They saw Earth.
Grandpa Gohan.
Training.
Growth.
They saw transformations, golden light erupting into Super Saiyan.
They saw battles that shattered mountains.
They saw Harry become something beyond anything in their world.
They saw him fall in love.
They saw him build a family.
They saw him fight for existence itself.
They saw the Tournament of Power.
They saw Jiren.
They saw Harry push beyond limits,
And then,
They saw him erased.
Complete.
Gone.
Aftermath
The office was silent when they returned.
No one spoke for several long seconds.
Then,
Merlin help them,
Ron spoke first.
"…Can you teach us that?"
Hermione rounded on him instantly. "Ronald!"
"What?!" Ron protested. "Did you not see him blow up a planet-level threat?!"
Harry snorted faintly.
Hermione pinched the bridge of her nose. "That is not the point,"
"It kind of is," Ron argued.
Harry raised a hand.
They both stopped.
"I can't teach you Saiyan biology," Harry said calmly. "That's… not transferable."
Ron deflated slightly.
"But," Harry continued, "I can teach you ki."
That got everyone's attention.
"Ki?" Flitwick echoed.
"Life energy," Harry explained. "Everyone has it. Saiyans just… weaponize it better."
Vale leaned forward. "What exactly can be learned?"
Harry ticked them off calmly.
"Sensing your surroundings without magic."
"Flight."
"Energy projection, blasts, beams."
"Enhanced physical reinforcement."
Silence.
Then,
"Flight?" Ron repeated faintly.
Hermione looked torn between skepticism and burning curiosity.
Neville looked like he'd just been handed a dream.
Ginny's eyes gleamed. "You're serious."
Harry met her gaze.
"Completely."
Dumbledore smiled.
Slow.
Delighted.
"Then," he said softly, "it seems Hogwarts is about to expand its curriculum once again."
Across the room, reactions varied:
Shock.
Excitement.
Disbelief.
Anticipation.
And beneath it all,
A quiet, growing understanding.
Harry Potter had not just returned.
He had brought an entirely new power with him.
And nothing would ever be the same.
