Chapter 210: The Three Kage Save Themselves

"Not bad!"

Seeing the three Kage choose to hold their ground, Li Jiexuan couldn't help but voice his approval. "As expected of the three Kage. If they had dared to attempt a breakout under these circumstances…"

There were fifty thousand snake-marked humans in total—and only the fourth formation had been deployed so far! Even if a few hundred managed to break through, running into an ambush of ten thousand would make the outcome obvious…

But if they chose to defend in place, then whether it was forty thousand or fifty thousand made little difference…

"Looks like this will turn into a war of attrition!" Li Jiexuan sneered as he turned and left. This battlefield no longer required his presence!

Forty thousand snake-marked humans had completely surrounded the ninja alliance, with another ten thousand on standby. At most, in five days, the entire alliance would be wiped out—none left alive!

And within those five days, even if one searched the entire ninja world, who could possibly gather tens of thousands of ninjas in such a short time to come to their rescue?

The outcome was already decided!

Meanwhile, inside a crude tent, the three Kage stood facing each other in silence. None of them had ever imagined that one day, they would lose their lives at the hands of civilians…

The Tsuchikage let out a helpless, bitter laugh. "At this point, we can only call for reinforcements."

"It's too late." Hiruzen Sarutobi shook his head with a wry smile. "All three Kage are already here. Unless the First Hokage returns from the dead, who could possibly save us?"

Hearing this, the Kazekage, Shamon, spread his hands in frustration. "So what, we just sit here and wait to die?"

Holding their ground was only a delaying tactic. Every second, ninjas were dying. With each death, their defensive strength weakened further.

"At most, we can last five days!" The Kazekage slammed the table angrily. "To think that I, the Kazekage, would be surrounded and killed by civilians!"

Hearing this, Hiruzen smiled and shook his head. "Brother Shamon, things aren't that dire yet…"

"Oh?" Shamon narrowed his eyes. "Hokage, do you have a plan?"

"I wouldn't call it a good plan—just making use of our advantage as ninjas." Hiruzen smiled as he took out a paper crane. "We need to send this message out… and expose a deception."

"A deception?"

"That's right!" Hiruzen narrowed his eyes and nodded. "During the battle earlier, I heard those snake-marked people calling Hanzo 'God' and Jiexuan 'Holy Son.' While I'm not entirely certain, I believe those snake-marked humans have been deceived!"

"As long as we expose this deception!" Hiruzen released the paper crane with confidence. "We can definitely break this situation!"

Seeing Hiruzen speak with such certainty, the Kazekage and Tsuchikage had no other choice but to follow suit, sending out communication jutsu to their villages, ordering their best operatives to head to the Hidden Rain Village to investigate!

Hidden Rain Village…

"Welcome back, Holy Son!"

"Holy Son, are there still slots for divine blessing today?"

The fanatical believers cheered in unison. Li Jiexuan smiled brightly and nodded in response. "Rest assured, everyone. Even though we've achieved great victory on the front lines, divine blessings will not stop!"

Hearing this, the zealots grew even more excited, kneeling and worshipping as they escorted Li Jiexuan into the shrine.

But the moment Li Jiexuan stepped inside, Hanzo approached him with a livid expression. "Why? Why haven't you stopped creating snake-marked humans when the front lines have already won?"

"Haha, Hanzo, you went to the front lines?" Li Jiexuan laughed casually. "Well? The ninja alliance couldn't even fight back, right? Now the Land of Rain can finally hold its head high!"

"That's not what I'm talking about!" Hanzo gritted his teeth, about to continue—

But before he could finish, Li Jiexuan simply smiled, turned around, and headed toward the Holy Blessing grounds in the back mountain…
