'His icon is so cute though…' for a moment I get distracted looking at Inv's Icon.
Watching Inv's icon, I see it move away from me moving towards the pipe. Good, this way he can get back to the shelter an- what is he doing?
Instead of going into the pipe he starts going up a pole instead. Seeing his icon move around on one of the higher platforms in the room I think he's getting batflys? But why would he…

'Aww… is he trying to get me food?' I feel warm inside seeing this. I would feel even more touched if it weren't for the fact he was risking his life just to get me food!
It's kinda weird seeing this play out on the screen. It's like I have a 3rd person view but only through moving pictures.
Seeing the little Inv icon move on the top platform something else appears on the screen suddenly.
'What the fuck?'
Appearing right next to my icon, I see a blue overseer appear right next to me?!
Remembering what happened last cycle when the overseer appeared, I grow a bit nervous.
Knowing how it acted last cycle I can't tell what it's intentions are…
Watching the overseer icon stay next to mine I see Inv's icon come back down the pole. The moment it reaches the bottom it stops…

In a blur I see Inv's icon move quickly towards mine!
The moment Inv reaches my icon, suddenly it's thrown to the other side of the room including mine!
While this happens I feel a sudden feeling of being pushed around!?
I'm not moving but it feels like I was just flying through the air??
Only being able to look on in confusion I thankfully still see Inv's icon moving. Noticing the overseer's icon is now gone I can only wonder what happened…
For a moment I see Inv's icon overlapping over mine.
Quickly, a feeling of warmness is starting to wrap over my body? Just like how I felt when I was on Inv's back…
Once it's wrapped all around me, I feel more… comfortable… I can feel my heart warm up even more knowing that Inv didn't abandon me when he could've. I would've been fine with it, it would only make sense in a situation like his. But he still chose to not abandon me…
'I really need to repay him somehow…'
While trying to think of a way to show Inv my gratitude the next time I talk to him I see both of our icons quickly zoom for the pipe leading back down to the shelter.
Seeing Inv in a rush I can only think it's because the cycle is almost over. Seeing only a couple more white dots filled left around the clock I hope nothing else happens to Inv on the way down.
Right before entering the pipe, at the last second I see several cyan lizard icons pop up from the pipe at the top part of the room.
'Phew… that was close… if Inv had stayed there for a moment longer I don't know what would've happened…'
Like watching some sort of show, I watch as Inv travels down the wall. Each passing moment only hoping that Inv can make it to the shelter.

When I see Inv enter the pipe that leads into the shelter I finally let out of breath that I didn't even know I was holding in until now.
'He's safe, we're both safe…' I feel genuine relief seeing both of our icons settled down inside the shelter.
'He saved me when he didn't have to… I have to try harder next time!' I resolve to not be a burden to Inv.
But with the way my arm is…

I can worry about that next cycle, for now Inv is safe and fed. That's all that matters. I come second.
With the danger passed and nothing else happening on the screen I mess with the settings again.

Selecting Inv's name, the map doesn't change. The only difference being Inv's icon is now highlighted over my icon now. Getting a better idea on what this is I think this lets me see where Inv would be on the map instead of me.

Leaving the confusing terms I've discovered for another cycle I go back to the first screen.
Looking below where my food pips are, I feel my eyes slightly widen when I see new sections I've never seen before!

'W-woah! What is this?! This was never here before!' looking at something completely new on the screen for once has me excited! Looking at the same numbers telling me how many times I died does get pretty boring.
Thinking of what I did last time when using the map screen I select passives. It's time to finally figure out what these damn passives are and what they do!
