After Conrad finished with the training, he left the cave and then went back to the city.
He did not spend much time in the city, as he wanted to go back to Heavens Arena and fight for more ranking if it was possible and reach the highest level.
This time, instead of a bus, he bought a ticket.
On the airship, as he was looking at the city from the sky and drinking, spending time with himself, his phone rang.
He looked and saw it was Adarte.
"Conrad, there are some things that you need to know."
Conrad thought for a moment and asked.
"What is it?"
Adarte let out a deep breath, and Conrad heard it from the phone and smiled.
"It seems like it is serious," he thought, and then Adarte spoke.
"It is about the man you killed. Police and people arrived, and they know that you did it and want to know the reason for it."
"Also, Anisa did some research about the Ten Dons and would like to give some information and wants to hold a meeting."
Conrad smiled hearing the things that Adarte was worried about and then nodded.
"I'll be back in an hour; tell the police and city council that Conrad Everest is a hunter and ask them to call for the Hunter Association if they want to meet."
Adarte nodded.
He knew that Conrad went to the Hunter Exam, and due to the fact that Conrad is a Nen user, he trusted his power.
It was not shocking for him to be a hunter on his first try.
"Will do."
"Take care," Adarte said.
After Conrad closed the phone, he smiled and shook his head.
"Due to the fact that now I have a hunter license, everything is easier. As Hisoka put it down in the series, Hunters would not be prosecuted most of the time as long as they do not act and take too much attention on themselves."
The time passed quickly, and Conrad arrived at the Heavens Arena before leaving to go to the Heavens Arena and his room.
He went to the police station, which is not too far away from the Heavens Arena, and entered.
"Hi," he said to a young police officer.
"I am Conrad Everest; some of you arrived at the Heavens Arena for a murder. I am here to give you my explanation."
The young police officer got up from his seat in fear and respect, and also confusion.
While he was about to say something, a middle-aged officer arrived, heard what Conrad said, and spoke.
"Mister Conrad, please come to my room. We heard that you are Hunter…"
Conrad nodded and entered the small room of the middle-aged officer.
"I am Lenix; I am the captain of this station. If you would not take it as rudeness, can I see your license?"
Conrad shook his head, indicating that it is not a problem, and then showed his license.
One look at the license, and Lenix understood that the material and the wordings were too great to be fake.
Still, to be sure, he rolled a number and then called the Hunter Association. After telling them who he was and where he was calling from and wanting to confirm a hunter, he asked about Conrad.
In just five seconds, the Hunter Association confirmed the identity and legal status of Conrad, and then Lenix closed the phone.
"So, with this confirmed, Mr. Conrad, please sign this that you came here to meet with us, and then you can leave without any problem."
Conrad looked at the paper and saw the emblem of the Hunter Association and then signed it and then left.
After leaving the station, he went back to the Heavens Arena and entered the elevator to go to his room.
"These simple procedures were not in the series due to the fact that it can be boring to many."
"But these things exist. It would be too easy to fake that one is a hunter if not."
Conrad then went back to his room and called Adarte.
"I am back and have dealt with the police and those matters. Call Anisa to Bar in Heavens Arena for the meeting."
"Will do," said Adarte, and then he called Anisa and told him that Conrad is back.
In ten minutes, the trio met up and ordered some cocktails for themselves, and Anisa started talking.
"I spoke with a Black merchant that I know, Ten Dons, who did not care about what we have done, and from what I hear in the Mafia circles, they will not take on three strong nen users just because of one Mafia family."
"It seems like, right now, we have no reason to believe that they would create more problems for us."
She spoke as she sipped and drank from her cocktail.
Adarte asked.
"How do you know the information is sure?"
"It may be a lie to make us comfortable that we are not getting attacked and then let our guards down to be killed easily when they attack."
Conrad interjected and said.
"It does not suit the Mafia families and how they operate. For them, sending a person to attack us and show that they are not fools and they will fight back if needed is enough."
"Also, the fact that they do not care and tell the other mafia families they will not care about people like us also shows power in their world."
Anisa smirked.
"So, you are saying that they are telling the mafia families under them that 'they are too weak for us to take action,' and something like that to show power."
Corad nodded and took a sip.
Adarte laughed out loud.
"That would be what cowards would say."
Conrad shook his head.
"They have some reality in their words."
"If they really wanted to kill us, being targeted by the Ten Dons would be really hard for us to keep on fighting."
"They have nen users in their command and hundreds of billions of funds to keep on hunting us, and we have no way to reach them."
Anisa took a deep breath and then asked.
"So, what should we do for the time being?"
Conrad took a sip and said it.
"Focus on your improvement, and also, I want you both to keep your eyes open for more people for the group. We will need at least four more people, a seven-person group to officially form the group."
Anisa and Adarte looked at each other and felt the excitement as they said it.
"We will do what you say."
Corad nodded and then looked down below the city. His mind was already working on the matter of group ability, which would give advantages to the group and work for the people in the group.
