Conrad never left Aresto's side and barely allowed him to make any noise.
Since there was not much security remaining inside the mansion, they also did not encounter many other mafia members.
Even if they had encountered someone, Aresto was fully aware of just how dangerous and powerful the man beside him was.
Without disrespecting Conrad in any way, he could simply signal the mafia members to stop and remain silent.
About ten minutes later, Conrad checked his phone and smiled.
"Approximately 45 billion Jenny..."
"More than fifty hotels, over thirty cafés, and more than ten restaurants..."
"Once I transfer all of this into the investment companies and establish a proper management structure, earning ten to fifteen billion in Jenny annually should be easy enough..."
"And if Reginald and Lina, along with Adarte and Anisa, are close to finishing their missions as well, then with the money they collected and the additional businesses and revenue streams, the companies and management owned by Seekers Of Unknown should generate somewhere between twenty-five and thirty-five billion Jenny annually..."
Conrad let out a deep breath and looked toward Aresto, who was staring back at him with hopeful eyes.
"At least you keep your word," Conrad said.
Aresto smiled and nodded. At this point, he no longer had the strength to say anything else.
The only thing he wanted was for this cursed and death-filled night to end.
Conrad reached into his pocket and pulled out a coin.
Aresto merely watched without saying anything.
"To be honest, I'm not sorry," Conrad said.
With a simple flick of his finger, the coin shot forward far faster than a bullet and exploded Aresto's head.
Fragments of skull and pieces of brain scattered everywhere.
The only thing Conrad thought was that for a filthy, dishonorable, and evil man like Aresto, dying this quickly was actually a merciful ending.
If Conrad had possessed a different personality or state of mind, torturing Aresto might have seemed like an enjoyable way to spend time.
Afterward, Conrad began wandering through the mansion, killing every mafia member he encountered one by one.
By the time he reached the upper floor, he had already killed more than fifteen mafia members.
He felt absolutely nothing.
In fact, his heart was filled with immense satisfaction.
The countless crimes, acts of cruelty, and suffering these mafia members had caused made their deaths equivalent to doing the world a favor.
He entered the largest bedroom on the upper floor and opened the balcony door before looking outside.
Thanks to the Obelisks, he could see every mafia member and every guard.
Without wasting any time, a smile appeared on his face as he began teleporting from place to place, killing every single one of them with a single move.
Around four in the morning, Conrad arrived at a bakery.
He bought himself a sandwich and began eating while drinking coffee.
At that moment, two notification sounds came from his phone.
"Twenty-five billion Jenny and countless businesses, hotels, restaurants, and supermarkets..."
"Reginald and Lina completed their mission."
Immediately afterward, Conrad read the second message.
"Twenty billion, Jenny, and similarly countless businesses. Adarte and Anisa also completed the mission without any problems."
"The plans are working perfectly," he thought.
He had already begun imagining the future investments and the monthly income of roughly 2.5 to 3.5 billion Jenny all these companies would generate together.
For a single night, it was an incredible profit.
As morning slowly began to brighten the sky, Conrad returned to his hotel and started handling the necessary management work.
All acquired assets and finances had already been transferred into the three separate companies he had established and, through those companies, further distributed into asset management and corporate management firms.
Around seven in the morning, he first took a shower, then sent a message to the rest of the group informing them there would be a meeting at two in the afternoon.
Afterward, he got into bed and fell asleep.
Despite killing so many people, this was perhaps the most peacefully he had rested his head on a pillow in a very long time.
Three mafia families, thousands of mafia members, and all of their connections had collapsed.
In a single night, who knew how many thousands of lives had been saved because those mafia families no longer existed?
During the morning hours, after the soil in the large garden area of the Quarmir Mansion suddenly trembled, a worm-like man emerged from underground and began looking around.
A few seconds later, an extremely thin man with a dog-like face and teeth approached while scanning the surroundings.
"Worm... I really don't like this situation," Rabid Dog said.
Worm remained silent at first and continued examining the area for a few moments.
"Besides the Quarmir Family, the other families were also attacked and destroyed..."
"And before they were wiped out, all of their money was transferred through secret and barely traceable methods."
Rabid Dog shook his head and spat onto the ground.
"I don't care about the money at all!" he said harshly.
"There were three Nen users protecting Aresto Quarmir."
"All three of them were killed without being able to fight back at all. I examined the bodies myself... Whoever killed them also killed everyone else—including Aresto—without causing unnecessary pain."
"So it's obvious the attacker wasn't a torturer or another mafia member."
Worm nodded, and a strange expression appeared on his face.
"So... some justice-loving person killed three mafia bosses in a single night?" he said.
Rabid Dog did not answer.
He simply turned around and began walking away from the mansion with his hands in his pockets.
"This situation makes our name look quite ridiculous, ladies and gentlemen," said the middle-aged man sitting in a simple yet high-quality chairman's chair.
In front of him was a massive television screen divided into nine different windows, each showing a different person. They were holding a live meeting with one another.
"The Quarmir Family… especially compared to the others, was far more important to us," said one of the bald, harsh-looking men.
"We, as the Ten Dons… must respond to this," said a middle-aged woman.
After several minutes of discussion, the "Don" who had spoken first while sitting in the chairman's chair finally spoke again.
"For now, we will do nothing. Once the auction is over, I will personally assign the Shadow Beasts to handle this matter," he said, and the meeting came to an end.
