It sounded unbelievable, yet considering that Qiong Xing had actually noticed it, it was hard to dismiss as a lie.
Under normal circumstances, Qiong Xing would never have realized it and given that he had been asleep for so long, it somehow made sense.
"Yes. I met someone in my dream. She said she couldn't help but come because she was worried."
Qiong Xing smiled wryly as he said it.
He didn't seem bothered, in fact, he looked more apologetic for causing concern.
"Worried? Your mother?"
"No… well, if I could, I'd like to meet her again… but it's someone you know, Joa. She have shoulder-length black hair, with cute dog ears—"
"Vita?"
At Qiong Xing's smile confirming it, tears began to spilled from Joa's eyes.
She was still watching over him just as she always had been.
"Vita said to check if you've been doing properly and also warned you not to push yourself now that you have a child."
That sounded exactly like her.
